Hostinger is much cheaper over time (โ $121 vs โ $597 for four years) and has no surprise extras. InMotion is worth it if you want a 90-day money back guarantee and real human support, but check every line in the cart.
Scores are my own editorial ratings from testing both carts and dashboards, out of 10. They are not customer reviews. Our overall rating is calculated from four assessed categories: price, renewal pricing, ease of use and features. We have not independently tested customer support response times or resolution quality, so support is excluded from the score.
The overall score is the plain average of the four tested ratings.

The cart surprise
The InMotion plans page says free domain, but my cart charged $23 for it, and a backup add-on was already added for $35.88. The total jumped to $116. After removing the backup it was $80.48 for one year plus the .com.
Longer terms are not cheaper
At InMotion, two and three years were $4.99 a month, so one year is the cheapest start. Hostinger is cheapest on 48 months: about $2.51 a month with LEARN2EARN, roughly $121 for four years.
Where InMotion is better
A 90-day money back guarantee, 100 GB of storage and real human support. Renewal is also a bit lower ($14.99 vs $16.99 a month).
