🔥 BLACK FRIDAY 2026: Hostinger Unlimited is now $3.49/mo (82% off, lowest price of the year) 👉

What this video covers

I gave the exact same prompts to 4 AI image generators: ChatGPT, Gemini (Nano Banana), Meta AI and Grok Imagine. Three real business tests: a product photo, a social media ad with text, and a realistic person. Then I show you how to make money selling AI images to local businesses.

Key points

Results (my scores out of 10)

ChatGPT: 9 / 8 / 9 = 26 (tested on a paid plan)

Meta AI: 8 / 9 / 9 = 26 (best free option in my test)

Gemini: 8 / 6 / 8 = 22 (free images were about 1024px)

Grok Imagine: 8 / 9 / limit = 17 (free plan asked me to upgrade after 2 images)

The prompts I used

  • Professional product photo of a premium coffee bag labeled "EMBER ROAST" on a rustic wooden table, soft morning light, a steaming cup of coffee next to it, shallow depth of field, 16:9.
  • Square Instagram ad for a bakery called "Bella's Bakery". Fresh golden croissants on a white marble counter, bold headline text "20% OFF TODAY", the bakery name at the top, clean modern design, warm colors.
  • Photorealistic photo of a smiling female dentist in a modern bright dental clinic, holding a tablet, natural skin texture, realistic hands, soft daylight, 16:9.

Note: Free plans and limits change often, so your results may be different. Always check text and hands before delivering images to a client, and don't create images of real people or brands without permission.

I gave the exact same prompts to four free AI image generators: ChatGPT, Gemini, Meta AI and Grok. A product photo, a social media ad, and a realistic person. One of them hit a paywall after just two images, and the winner surprised me. Hey, I'm Adam, and welcome to Build and Earn AI. Let's test them.

Why does this matter? Small businesses pay for product photos, social media ads and website images every month. If you can make them with free AI, you can sell them as a service. So I scored every tool out of ten, on three real business tasks. Round one, a product photo. The prompt: a premium coffee bag labeled Ember Roast, on a rustic wooden table, with morning light and a steaming cup.

ChatGPT nailed it. The label is spelled perfectly, it added a tagline and a Summit Blend label, and the scene looks like a real ad. Nine out of ten. Gemini, with Nano Banana, also spelled the label correctly, and the lighting is warm and natural. But on the free plan, the image is only about one thousand pixels wide.

Eight. Meta AI gave me two versions to choose from, in high resolution. A clean kraft bag, perfect text, and a cozy cup. It looks a little generic, but very usable. Eight. And Grok Imagine made an elegant black bag with gold text. Correct spelling and a premium feel. Eight. Round two, a social media ad.

A square Instagram post for Bella's Bakery, with the headline twenty percent off today. This is where AI usually fails, because of the text. ChatGPT got the headline right, and the croissants look delicious, but it added a chalkboard with a strange slogan. Eight. Gemini made a poster inside a bakery scene, not a real square ad, and it invented a website and a street address.

Six. Meta AI made a clean, modern ad with perfect text, a subheadline and a button. You could post this today. Nine. Grok made the most designed ad, with a logo, a sticker and icons. Also a nine. Quick question. Which ad would you post? Comment A for ChatGPT, B for Gemini, C for Meta, or D for Grok.

Round three, realistic people. A smiling female dentist in a bright clinic, holding a tablet, with realistic hands. ChatGPT made a very natural photo. Real skin, good hands, and a believable clinic. Nine. Gemini's dentist looks real too, with a nice tablet screen. It even put a clinic logo on her uniform, which I blurred.

Eight. Meta AI was impressive. Natural skin, correct hands, a readable tablet, and even a name badge. Nine. And Grok? After just two images, it asked me to upgrade, even in speed mode. So on the free plan, Grok gets zero here. Final scores. ChatGPT twenty six, Meta AI twenty six, Gemini twenty two, and Grok seventeen.

So who wins? For quality and details, ChatGPT is amazing, but I tested it on a paid plan. If you want the best free option, the winner is Meta AI. High resolution, great text, and no paywall in my test. Here's how to make money with this. Offer local businesses a monthly pack: product photos, social media ads and website images.

Many freelancers charge one hundred to three hundred dollars a month for this. And if you build websites for clients, these images make every site look premium. I host my client sites on Hostinger, and the link is in the description. A few honest notes. Free plans change all the time, so your limits may be different.

Always check the text and the hands before you deliver. And don't make AI images of real people or brands without permission. Subscribe for a new AI tutorial every week. And tell me in the comments: which tool won for you? A, B, C or D?
