ChatGPT Now Builds Mini Apps Inside the Chat (GPT-6 Intelligent UI): 3 Ways to Make Money

ChatGPT can now answer with buttons, calculators and interactive charts instead of plain text. Here is what OpenAI launched with GPT-6 (Intelligent UI), what it is good at, its limits, and 3 realistic ways to make money from it.

What this video covers

ChatGPT can now answer with buttons, calculators and interactive charts instead of plain text. Here is what OpenAI launched with GPT-6 (Intelligent UI), what it is good at, its limits, and 3 realistic ways to make money from it.

Key points

What happened

  • October 7, 2026: OpenAI rolled out GPT-6 in ChatGPT with Intelligent UI, paid plans first. Free and Go users started getting it the next day.
  • Answers can mix text with tappable buttons, forms, custom calculators and editable charts. OpenAI examples: a bill splitter, a savings calculator, a hiking map, a diagram of how a plane wing creates lift.
  • No special prompt needed. You can reduce visuals in settings. Not supported on the old desktop apps.
  • The catch: the tool lives inside ChatGPT. You can't put it on your own website.

3 ways to earn from this

  • Use ChatGPT as a free prototype lab (quote calculator, mortgage calculator) before you build anything.
  • Rebuild the prototype as one HTML page on your own domain + hosting, so you own it (like my website price calculator).
  • Sell interactive tools to local businesses: setup fee + monthly hosting and updates.

Rules: check the math, and never put private client data into a chat tool you don't control.

ChatGPT doesn't just answer with text anymore. Ask it something, and it can build you a little app right inside the chat: buttons, calculators, charts you can edit. So how do you actually make money from this? Hey, I'm Adam, and welcome to Build and Earn AI. Stay for idea number two, it's the one most people will miss.

So what happened? On October seventh, OpenAI rolled out GPT six in ChatGPT, together with a new feature called Intelligent UI. Paid plans got it first, and free and Go users started getting it the next day. Intelligent UI means the answer can mix text with tappable buttons, forms, custom calculators, and interactive charts. OpenAI's own examples include a bill splitter, a savings calculator, a hiking map, and a diagram that explains how a plane wing creates lift.

You don't need a special prompt, it decides when a visual answer helps. Is it actually useful? For learning and quick math, yes, a slider beats a wall of text. But there are limits. It lives inside ChatGPT, so you can't put it on your own website, it doesn't run on the old desktop apps, and some users already asked for a way to turn it off.

You can reduce the visuals in settings. And here's the important part. Millions of people will now see what a simple interactive tool feels like. That makes it much easier to sell one. Quick question. Do you like interactive answers, one, or do you prefer plain text, two? Comment one or two. So how do you make money from this?

Here are three realistic ideas. Idea one: use ChatGPT as your free prototype lab. Ask it for a quote calculator for a cleaning company, or a mortgage calculator for a realtor. In seconds you see if the idea works, what inputs it needs, and how it should look, before you build anything. Idea two: turn the prototype into a real tool on a real website.

A tool inside ChatGPT belongs to ChatGPT. Ask AI to rebuild it as one HTML page, put it on your own domain with hosting, and now it's yours. I did exactly this with a website price calculator. Businesses want tools on their own site, where their customers are. Idea three: sell interactive tools to local businesses.

A gym needs a membership price calculator, a contractor needs an instant quote form, a clinic needs a simple booking checker. Charge a setup fee, plus a monthly fee for hosting and updates. Two rules. Check the math, AI can still get numbers wrong. And never put private client data into a chat tool you don't control.

To put your tools online on your own domain, my hosting link and the coupon code LEARN2EARN are in the description. Subscribe for more real ways to build and earn with AI, and tell me in the comments: interactive answers, one, or plain text, two? I'll see you in the next one.
